Trapped
Trapped started back in 2005, as one of Rodrigo's spare-time projects. The main idea was to create an escape game, but following a few rules to make it resemble classic adventure games, such as LucasArts' Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island and Sam & Max hit the road.
After two years of not-that-hard work (the project was often abandoned for months), The White Rabbit was released. Bruno came in right before that release, with his wild immagination, to help create the puzzles and the story. The White Rabbit was an almost instant success, reaching over 100,000 people from more than 150 countries in the first few days, with virtually no advertising at all.
Three months later, The Dark followed its predecessor. Now we had a better idea of what to do and how to do it: the puzzles were better polished, the story grew and assumed the spotlight, and we started to add more humour in the game.
By now, Trapped had over 1,000,000 visits, and counting. Without an official date yet, the third and final part of the game, The Labyrinth, will be released sometime in 2008.
You can learn more about the making of the game in the about section from the official website.
